The long awaited second pale rosé
£32.00
The long awaited follow up to the original Blowhorn Rosé is here… After much critical acclaim, we took the opportunity from the incredible 2025 harvest (remember that summer that lasted from April to October?) to make three styles of rosé with this one at the front of the queue. Unlike most other rosé in the world, we barrel ferment 100% of the wine instead of in stainless steel. We only kept it on the skins for a couple of hours to get that delicate colour before putting all of the juice into barrels for around six months.
However…
Unlike the original Blowhorn, we put 7% of this in a brand new Remond Vosges barrel to add something a little extra. Before you ask, no, it’s not ‘oaky’, trust us, it just adds a layer of style and finesse.
Quite possibly the best rosé we’ve made yet, think that says it all?

How to describe The Disobedient… It is just simply on another level to what you expect from a glass of Rose, pale, elegant, crisp, yes but with a wonderful roundness full of strawberries and cream, delicious! The Heretics have done it again! buy some while you still can
Gareth Maxwell –
Camilla! You’ve nailed it, we aren’t like any other rosé, so pleased to have you as a loyal heretic
Lindsay Shuttleworth (verified owner) –
Eagerly awaited the new pale rose as the previous pale rose was outstanding. You have surpassed expectations as The Disobedient is amazing! Thank you!
Gareth Maxwell –
Lindsay! Thanks for the kind words and for being such a great customer, much love, G&J

As our favourite Rose, Blownhorn was always going to be a tough act to follow but this is a fantastic release! Strawberry & creamtastic with a great depth of flavour from the barrel age and a super long finish. Just a shame the bottle seems to empty so quickly….
Gareth Maxwell –
Pete! Jesus, it’s not just us, we thought there was something wrong with our bottles, like they had a hole in. Think we might make some magnums this year to deal with this issue, thanks for highlighting. Much love, G&J
Graeme (TyneTipples) –
Fantastic – your wines keep getting better year by year! I now have 3 abs fav rosés – all of them from The Heretics!
Gareth Maxwell –
Graeme! The full house? The top 3? That’s pretty good going, thanks a lot for the support, much love, G&J
Iain –
Love this. It’s a bit of a handful (in the best way) and a breath of fresh air to all the other rosé flooding the early summer market. It’s got depth but is still crisp and refreshing. A triumph!
Gareth Maxwell –
Iain! ‘Bit of a handful’ now where have we heard that before? Much love, G&J
Paul W –
‘Quite possibly the best rosé we’ve made yet, think that says it all?’ Having tried all The Heretics Roses, I would agree: sensational, world class wine. A different league to the over-hyped stuff coming out of Provence. Buy before it all goes.
Gareth Maxwell –
Paul! ‘Quite possibly the best review we’ve received yet’….much love, G&J
Niamh –
Incredible once again. I’ve been waiting for the pale to come back and this is even better than I remember! Will always be a household favourite…same as all of the others obviously.
Gareth Maxwell –
Niamh! Love this, so kind of you to take the time to leave a review, great to see us feature on the regular in the Middleton household!
Adam Topham –
Heretics Wine has absolutely nailed it again. Their pale rosé has just landed and somehow it’s even better than before. Crisp, elegant and dangerously easy to love. This one’s going to disappear fast.
Gareth Maxwell –
Adam! ‘Dangerously easy to love’ could be our new strapline for this…much love, G&J
